Hired by the Newport Beach Ocean Lifeguards, I was tasked with creating t-shirt designs that captures the essence of each year's memorable moments along with designs for special events. I’ve had the privilege of creating over half a dozen unique designs for multiple divisions. While working with Florence Marine X, who sponsored the manufacturing of the shirts along with local screen printers.
Following the project brief, I began by sketching the initial design on paper to capture the core concept. I then scanned the sketch onto my iPad, tracing it to develop a polished digital image. To align with the design aesthetic outlined in the brief, I carefully applied color and made final adjustments based on feedback. I repeated this process throughout my time working with the department.
